The CEO of mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine, Olga Ustinova, has told Interfax-Ukraine that the company aims to launch residential fixed broadband internet and TV services over its own network to be built out over the next few years.
Ms Ustinova disclosed: ‘At the strategic session with the shareholder [the cellco’s owner Bakcell of Azerbaijan], we decided to enter the fixed internet market. This is becoming one of the strategic development priorities for us for the next two years.’ She noted that work has already begun on the project, and that consumers will be offered converged bundles of mobile and fixed services.
