Amazon Prime Video Channels have made their debut in three more European markets.
The bouquet of channels is already familiar to viewers in the United States, Canada, Japan, Germany and the UK and goes live in Spain, the Netherlands and Italy.
The Spanish line-up includes Starzplay, MGM, Nick Jr.’s Noggin, Mubi, TVCortos (short films), OUTtv, Qello Concerts by Stingray and Mezzo.
“We are excited to bring even more of a fantastic selection to Prime members with the launch of Prime Video Channels in Italy, Spain and the Netherlands,” said Julian Monaghan, director, Amazon Prime Video Channels EU.
“By simplifying our customers’ entertainment experience all within the Prime Video app, we make it even easier for them to select, subscribe and enjoy their favourite TV shows and movies from our channel providers, adding to the great range of entertainment already available through Prime Video with a Prime membership.”
As previously reported in Broadband TV News, Amazon Prime Video launched in the Benelux countries in May. Channels available in the Netherlands include Film1, Starzplay, hayu, Shorts, Noggin by Nick Jr., and MGM.
