His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Faisal called Saudi National Day the inspiring historical commemoration of Saudi citizens' love and loyalty for their homeland, and a celebration of the dedication of their fathers and forefathers over nine decades, enabling their homeland today to become a paragon of progress, prosperity and development.
His Highness said: "On this day, we renew our loyalty and covenant with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them - in light of the growth and progress of our beloved homeland in various fields, which is attaining new heights of glory through the hard work and perseverance of its loyal sons and daughters."
Through its wise policy and ambitious Vision 2030, he added, the Kingdom has become an important player in global political and economic policies, ranking among the top 20 most powerful countries worldwide based on its policies which always call for peace and tolerance. His Excellency referred to the Kingdom's presidency of the G20 Summit, which will be held in Riyadh in November, as the recognition of its distinguished global status.
As for Engineer Nasser Al-Nasser, CEO of stc, he said that National Day marks Saudi Arabia's achievement of remarkable qualitative leaps in all industries and fields.
