Vodafone UK has expanded 4G mobile coverage to the rural community of Longnor in the Peak District in England. This is the second UK site to go live under the new Shared Rural Network (SRN) programme, after Devauden in the Wye Valley (Wales) in June.
Vodafone has used an existing O2 UK network site to expand its 4G coverage in Longnor. The GBP 1 billion SRN programme aims to extend 4G mobile coverage to 95 percent of the UK landmass.
