Telenor's Finnish arm, DNA, said it has extended its 5G network to Hameenlinna. It is up and running in the city center as well as in the areas of Kauriala, Myllymaki, Keinusaari, Hakovuori, Visamaki, as well as in the vicinity of Innopol. Jarkko Laari, DNA's radio network director said construction of its 5G network has begun in Hämeenlinna and it is also strengthening its 4G network.
In the near future, the coverage area of DNA's 5G network will be expanded in Seinajoki and Vaasa, among others. In addition to Hameenlinna, DNA's 5G services are available in Espoo, Heinola, Helsinki, Hyvinkaa, Jyvaskyla, Kuopio, Lahti, Lieto, Nokia, Oulu, Pirkkala, Pori, Raahe, Raisio, Rauma, Rusko, Sipoo, Tampere, Turku, Vantaa and Ylojarvi. DNA continues to actively develop and expand all of its networks.
