Pakistan government is intending to introducing its DigiSkills initiative. The DigiSkills program, basically is the first online training program in Pakistan that aims to encourage and strengthen the youth with the acquirement of skills badly in demand in the job market.
DigiSkills’ basic motto and mission is to develop a firm workforce for a future shaped by the fourth industrial wave, characterized by technology orientation, innovation and initiative.
It can also be seen that both the economy and others of Pakistan, that companies have begun to extensively outsource key functions such as human resources, marketing, accounting, etc.
Who they are giving remarks to is a growing body of freelancers: individuals who bear the skill set required along with energy, focus and determination to provide services which companies previously had to handle in-house.
The freelance market is bursting of diverse and extremely creative and talented individuals who are frequently evolving with the routine acquisition of new skills.
In the DigiSkills initiative will provide a platform for these young talented individuals to further proceed in their career with their skill set.
There are chances that an advanced digital marketplace of workers in Pakistan will facilitate e-commerce, allowing goods produced in Pakistan to be sold both on domestic level as well as on international level.
Each and everything, be it from technical skills to leather goods and furniture can be marketed and exported using digital skills.
In addition, bringing women workers into this workforce will not only augment the size of the domestic economy, but will also help enhance the competitiveness, address issues of the growing demand, and allow for more families to meet their education, health, and lifestyle needs.
