Kyrgyzstan’s largest cellular operator by subscribers MegaCom has launched a mobile TV service, ‘MePlay’, provided to its customers on a zero-rated data basis i.e. without users incurring any mobile data traffic limitations/charges for using the TV application.
MePlay, featuring movies, sports, entertainment, children’s TV and other channels, can be activated in all MegaCom mobile tariff plans, with three tiers of service: ‘Light’ (50 channels, KGS3 [USD0.04] per day), ‘Basic’ (80 channels, KGS5 per day) and ‘Premium’ (150 channels, KGS7 per day).
