Bahrain’s National Broadband Company ‘BNET’ announced selecting SAP as its technology partner to implement cloud-based ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions built on AWS (Amazon Web Services). BNET said the solution, SAP’s S/4 HANA (high-performance analytic appliance) solutions, is compatible with its requirements specifically in areas related to artificial intelligence, process automation, data analytics, and the flexibility of cloud-based solutions. BNET also selected ‘Seidor’ SAP’s Platinum implementation partner to implement the cloudbased solutions in the company.
“This will enable us to provide intelligent solutions that are based on real data,” said BNET CEO Mohamed Bubashait. Reham Almusa, Managing Director, SAP Bahrain, said the real-time solutions will support BNET in digitising internal platforms and processes to transform customer experiences. “Being a digital transformation leader in the region, we are proud to be part of this project and support to achieve BNET’s strategic goals,” commented Ignacio Ruiz de Eguilaz, managing director of Seidor MENA.
BNET also chose SAP SuccessFactors, another cloud-based solution built on AWS, to manage its human resources and implement its talent strategy, which revolves around three main pillars; attract and develop specialised national talent, empower Bahraini women in the telecom field, and build a strong work culture through clear principles that are based on patriotism and serving the Kingdom of Bahrain.
