Nur Telecom (O!) has expanded its 4G LTE mobile network to reach more than 97% of Kyrgyzstan’s population, up from 95% in mid-2019, it announced on its website, highlighting that 4G data service coverage now nearly matches mobile voice coverage.
Over the last month alone, work to expand coverage and network capacity was carried out in locations including 57 settlements in the Chui region, 21 locations in the Issyk-Kul region, 23 areas in the Talas region and nine settlements in the Naryn region. O! added that it will continue to carry out projects to reach remote parts of the country while focusing on increasing the capacity of its network and ‘perfecting the quality of communications’.
