Polish telco Polkomtel, which trades as Plus, has started offering fixed broadband services using the infrastructure of incumbent operator Orange Polska.
Polkomtel previously utilised the networks of sister company Netia, which is also part of the Cyfrowy Polsat group. The addition of Orange’s fibre infrastructure will almost double its footprint, allowing it to provide up to 1Gbps broadband services to around 39% of Polish households.
