Sri Lanka Telecom conducted eighteen regional events parallel to the launch of Digital Roadmap, on the theme ‘Smart Sri Lanka’ recently. These regional events conducted at Gampaha, Kalagedihena, Wadduwa, Galle, Matara, Ratnapura, Kandy, Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Moneragala, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Chilaw, Kurunegala, Jaffna, Batticaloa and Ampara, with the participation of over 4,500 including regional government officials, business customers and society leaders representing the public.
The regional sessions comprised awareness presentations, discussion forums and live demonstrations. Repreresentatives of SLT business partner organisations such as Sri Lanka Telecom Services, SLT Digital Info Services, Fentons Limited, Epic Lanka, SALA Enterprises, Finco Technologies, and e-solutions Lanka, were also present.
