Slovakia’s newest mobile network operator (MNO) 4ka (SWAN Mobile) says it intends to demonstrate a live trial of 5G technology, the first in the country.
The firm will showcase 5G services in Banska Bystrica, both in a live network and in a lab environment, Zive reports. 4ka, which launched as Slovakia’s fourth MNO in October 2015, holds a licence for 5G-capable spectrum in the 3.5GHz-3.7GHz band which is valid until 2024.
