Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) has announced the appointment of Mr. Kais Ben Hamida as Chief Financial Officer, EITC, effective July 14, 2019. Mr. Ben Hamida has proven experience in the ICT and Telecommunications sector in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Mr. Ben Hamida’s expertise will bolster EITC’s transformation roadmap and will be instrumental in guiding the organization’s growth trajectory.
Mr. Ben Hamida is a senior executive with robust strategic insight derived from an extensive background in corporate finance, investments, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, financing, strategy and operations. He also brings a unique perspective to EITC having generated years of experience in global telecom environments.

Most recently, Mr. Ben Hamida held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) in Saudi Arabia, which is a subsidiary of Etisalat, and one of their biggest telecommunications companies in the Middle East.
Previously, Kais served as CFO of Orange (Egypt), where he contributed to the successful turn-around of the business. He also served as a Partner at Valiance Capital (Italy) where he launched the infrastructure fund. He served as a Senior Vice President of Merger and Acquisitions of the Orange Group (Paris) where he led the implementation of several strategic transactions and partnerships. He started his career in banking at Société Générale (Paris) and the World Bank (Washington DC).
Mr. Ben Hamida holds a BSc of Statistical Modeling and Financial Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris; an MSc in Engineering from the Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris and an MSc in Economics from the Sorbonne University, Paris.
