Swedish network services provider Talkpool said it has won a contract with the world's largest telecom vendor for maintaining one of the major mobile networks in Pakistan. The order is worth approximately EUR 620,000 per year, with an initial contract of EUR 360,000 for the first six months. This is Talkpool’s first managed services contract in the Middle East/Pakistan region.
The on-site maintenance work provided by Talkpool generates long-term and stable revenues that complement the project work that makes up the majority of revenues for LCC Pakistan, which was acquired by Talkpool in 2017. Talkpool's general manager in the region, Faraz Zafar, said it has now established a managed services division and is targeting more customers for field maintenance.
Talkpool employs 1,000 people in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
