Russian satellite operator RTComm, a subsidiary of national operator Rostelecom, has introduced satellite broadband services in the Kaliningrad region under the SenSat brand. The services are available for both household and corporate subscribers, and are aimed at customers residing in rural areas.
The services are provided over the AM-5, Express AM-6 and AMU-1 satellites. RB-ProfitSenSat, the official reseller of SenSat, will carry out connections in the region. The price of end-user equipment will start at RUB 29,990. The monthly subscription rate will go to RUB 670 per month for the use of of broadband of up to 45 Mbps.
