Russian mobile operator MTS has launched its Wi-Fi Calling and VoLTE (Voice over LTE) services in the Republic of Karelia and in the Oryol region. MTS claims that it is the first operator offering the services in Karelia, reports Cnews.ru
The operator implemented the technologies in the Moscow, St Petersburg, Amur and Novosibirsk regions, as well as in the Republic of Dagestan earlier this year. The services were launched in the Voronezh region and in the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2018.
