Russian operator MTS has signed a cooperation agreement with the government of the Novosibirsk region, reports Cnews.ru. The operator will provide satellite TV users in the region with free access to 20 public TV channels.
The services will be available in 193 settlements not covered by DVB-T services.
Disconnection of terrestrial analog TV services is planned in the Novosibirsk region on 3 June.
