Belarusian mobile operator Velcom, switching to the A1 brand, has started providing LTE services in the city of Pinsk in the Brest region. LTE services from the operator had earlier been launched in the city and municipality of Minsk, as well as in the city of Gomel.
Velcom provides LTE services in Pinsk on the 1,800 MHz band. The operator provides LTE services on 530 base stations across the country in cooperation with state-owned infrastructure operator beCloud.
Velcom also owns 45 3G base stations in Pinsk.
