Edotco (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. (“edotco Cambodia”), an integrated telecommunications infrastructure services company in Cambodia, reaffirmed their commitment as the country’s digital partner at the Digital Cambodia 2019 event.
Speaking at the event, Phillip Wong, Chief Regional Officer-Growth Markets of edotco Group said “edotco is at the forefront of telecommunication infrastructure and investment in Asia and operates as a strong nation-building partner in all countries we are present. His Excellency Tram Iv Tek, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications said that the government of Cambodia hopes to have 100% broadband coverage in urban areas and 70% coverage in rural areas (and up to 80% internet penetration) by 2020, and that actively partnering with specialist infrastructure companies is key to ensuring Cambodia stays on the right track.

Organized by the National Institute of Posts, Telecommunications and ICT (NIPTICT), edotco is a key sponsor at, Digital Cambodia 2019, takes place from March 15th – 17th. This initiative is a step towards preparing for the nation’s digital economy. It is designed to show the potential and growth of local technology businesses, and to establish communication and online networks. The event will be attended by 20,000 people, including officials from the telecommunications and information ministries of the ASEAN member states, telecommunications operators, ICT firms, microfinance institutions, and startups.
