The Ukrainian broadcaster 1+1 Media has released a mobile application for iPhones that gives access to its on demand platform.
Known as 1+1 video, the platform offers over 23,000 hours of content produced by the group, as well as live streaming of six of its proprietary channels – 1+1, 2+2, Tet, PlusPlus, Bigudi and Unian TV.
Commenting on the development, Anna Tkachenko, CEO of 1+1 Media, said: “Creating an iPhone application is a response to the high demand from loyal audiences that appeared after the successful launch of a similar product for Android phones. Today, the content consumption model is changing, and with it its distribution is transformed. That is why we are working to make our video library more accessible on the Internet in the form of a web service and a mobile application”.
1+1 Media notes that users who wish to watch its content on a big screen have AirPlay and Chromecast available in the app.
