Vodafone Germany has launched beamforming technology to enhance LTE connectivity in rural areas of the country.
The antenna technology, which is being made available in 50 German communities, increases the capacity of a 4G mobile mast by five times. Vodafone says its customers in these areas will be able to benefit from the new technology both at home – via its GigaCube fixed line substitution product – and on the move.
