SFR's fiber network passed an additional 111,000 new premises across 122 French municipalities during November, including hybrid fibre-coaxial and FTTP services. This marked the arrival of the operator's fibre offers for 78 of these municipalities, while coverage was extended in the other locations. The operator's fibre footprint now reaches a total of 12.1 million premises across more than 2,400 French municipalities, of which 1,700 have access to the top speed of 1 Gbps.
Meanwhile, 321 municipalities saw the arrival of SFR's LTE network in November, and 348 were upgraded to LTE-Advanced. Among the towns and cities receiving faster services, 87 new locations can now benefit from theoretical download speeds of 300 Mbps, while coverage of the 500 Mbps service has been extended to Avignon, Nantes and Tours.
Looking that the ongoing roll-out of concept stores, SFR enlarged its retail footprint with a new addition during December, located in the town of Manosque (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department).
