In a major audience expansion, the DIVAN.TV over-the-top (OTT) video platform has extended its content library to streaming devices Roku TV and Amazon Fire TV.
DIVAN.TV has been in operation for seven years and has more than two million users worldwide. Its library contains over 200 TV channels and 50,000 movies and offers licensed content, content sharing, and ability to view recorded transmissions from popular television channels such as Euronews, France 24, FashionTV and Nickelodeon. The platform also includes Hollywood films and the functionality to create lists of favourite channels and movies.
The service is currently now available on smart TVs, smartphones, tablets and other set-up boxes such as Android TV and Apple TV. A blockchain-based version of the platform is expected to launch in Q1 2019. The new move opens it up to respective US user bases of 38.9 million with Roku TV’s users and 35.8 million with Amazon Fire TV.
“We are thrilled to now be available on Roku TV and Amazon Fire TV, as this means we can offer our diverse content library to an even larger audience and be present in more homes in the US, Europe, and across the world,” said Andrew Kolodyuk, DIVAN.TV founder and chairman.
