Keeping in view the geostrategic and demographical location of Pakistan and the vision of the new government of PTI, Whale Cloud, Alibaba’s partner has shown deep interest in the Pakistani market and has promised to invest $70million in the span of next 2-3 years.
Whale Cloud—CEO Ben Zhou gave a call to the IT and Telecom Minister Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Friday for discussing the investment climate and opportunities in the country.
Whale Cloud—is the world leading data intelligence firm,which was founded in the year 2003 as the biggest subsidiary of ZTE and has been involved in telecom data processing and ICT domains for fifteen years.
In early 2018, it became a planned partner of Alibaba Cloud. Presently, Whale Cloud gives digital transformation technologies and services for the telecom operators, enterprises and governments in more than eighty nations and regions in the world.
Ben Zhou is on a brief visit to Pakistan. He shared his views on how whale cloud could assist the government of China as well as governments throughout the globe for developing smart infrastructure using private cloud service for ensuring data security and integrity.
Dr Siddiqui further shared his views about making Pakistan the number one human capital centre of the complete region and asked the WhaleCloud CEO for investing in the human capital of Pakistan to which both the leaders agreed.
The CEO applauded the minister about the Cloud Now Conference which would be taking place on the 17th of December 2018. The minister applauded the warm gesture and commitment of Ali Baba Group and Whale Cloud.
