Vodafone Turkey became the 7th Vodafone operator to start selling consumer-oriented IoT products from Vodafone's 'V by Vodafone' range. At present, customers can purchase 4 devices, V-Kids Watch, V-Bag, V-Pet, and V-Auto, which work together with the V-Sim smartphone app that can be downloaded for free from Google Play and Apple Store stores and is activated automatically.
Vodafone Turkey offers two special tariffs for 'V' products that require a monthly subscription, 'V-Yasam Saat' and 'V-Yasam', which can be purchased from TRY 10 each. These have enough internet and SMS content to cover the operation of 'V' devices. In addition, the first tariff is available at no additional cost in 45 countries where Sey Dahil Pasaport (All-Inclusive Passport) is valid abroad.
The new V-Kids Watch product can be bought in 12 monthly installments of TRY 82 per month with the V-Yasam Saat tariff.
The global launch of Vodafone's individual IoT products was made in November 2017 under the brand name 'V by Vodafone.' The 'V' products were first introduced in 4 countries, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK. Portugal and Ireland were added to these countries in a one-year period.
