Samsung Egypt has started delivering its new tablets to the government under the agreement signed with the Ministry of Education, reports the Daily News. Under the agreement, Samsung will provide 708 tablets to the first secondary year pupils in Egypt during the school year 2018/19. This number should covers the total number of pupils at government schools as well as their supervising teachers.
Samsung was chosen as the supplier of the tablets after a public call for tenders. Several companies met the conditions and the armed forces carried out an evaluation and reviewed the offers made. The tablets come with a three-year warranty and are supported with Knox MDM software.
