Zain Kuwait has announced a strategic partnership with the ministry of interior’s latest traffic awareness campaign, which will extend throughout the new school year and is being organised by MOI’s General Department of Public Relations and Media Security Boslaib, as well as a number of Zain officials and ministry representatives. Zain’s support to this campaign will extend throughout the new school year of 2018-2019. The campaign aims at spreading positive awareness about traffic safety among students of all age groups, ranging from kindergarten to college, with the goal of enriching traffic safety values within them from an early age.
The campaign’s exhibition held at the Avenues mall mainly aims at spreading positive awareness among visitors, especially young people, about traffic safety through a number of activities that contribute to delivering a positive message in a creative way.
The activities include a coloring section for children to introduce traffic signs, a mini-village with streets and roads where children can simulate driving and learn basic traffic laws such as wearing seatbelts, following road lines, respecting special needs parking, and more. The exhibition also includes a Virtual Reality (VR) section to showcase the dangerous consequences of using mobile phones while driving, where visitors can simulate a lifelike situation of a driver using their mobile phone while driving and experience the negative results of this reckless behavior. The campaign’s programme will also include a number of visits to schools and universities to spread traffic safety awareness among students.
As part of its partnership with the ministry of interior, Zain sponsored the National Drug Abuse Prevention Campaign in June. The campaign mainly aimed at spreading awareness among young people about the various types of illegal drugs, their dangers, and how to prevent them.
