Airtel Uganda has tied up with Kwese Inflix TV to launch mobile television services. The Kwese Iflix mobile app offers entertainment including live coverage of all the matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. Iflix offers international, first-run exclusive shows, award-winning TV serials and hit feature films such as 'ICE', 'The Royals', 'Family Time', 'Love and Hip Hop', 'Chasing Life', 'El Fantasma De Elena', 'Passion and Power' and 'La Vuida Negra'.
The service also offers free content including short-form drama and local free-to-air TV stations, such as NTV Uganda and Bukedde TV. Airtel Uganda is offering discounted video data bundles with a VIP pass to stream Kweseiflix on their phones, in a two-in-one subscription available via Airtel Money. Mobile video bundles are available with validities of one day, three days, seven days or 30 days.
