Flow Jamaica, the local brand of Cable & Wireless Communications, has announced plans to expand its 4G-LTE network to 87 percent of the country’s population by the end of 2018, rising to 95 percent by 2020, reports the Jamaica Gleaner, citing the operator’s managing director Stephen Price.
"Flow Jamaica, in its many iterations, is one of the longest-standing investors in this country and we are here for the long haul,” said Price at the Jamaica Investment Forum (JIF) in Montego Bay. Flow activated its 4G network at the end of 2016 and has installed around 170 mobile stations throughout the country.
