Verimatrix announced that Nepalese DTH operator DishHome extended its investment to support next-generation DVB cardless security, powered by the VCAS Ultra platform.
DishHome relied on Verimatrix for DVB security since 2011. DishHome originally invested in VCAS for DVB to provide a future-proof approach to revenue security that could scale with the company.
In addition to enhanced security, the latest advancements in DVB support from the VCAS Ultra platform offer EMM bandwidth optimisation. This results in optimisation of the Satellite Transponder Bandwidth utilisation, which enables more channels to be added to DishHome services.
