Asian satellite operator and provider of integrated satellite communications services Thaicom has sigend an agreement with satellite broadband service provider We Are IT Philippines.
The multi-year capacity wholesale agreement is aimed at providing connectivity for the rollout of nationwide enterprise and government broadband projects.
Under the terms of the deal, We Are IT Philippines will use the entire IPSTAR capacity of both spot and broadcast beams for the Philippines. WIT will also provide broadband connectivity through the IPSTAR high-throughput satellite to serve market verticals in the Philippines, including broadcasting, maritime, telecom, and mobile network operators.
