Polish government has adopted a draft law on the national cybersecurity system, submitted by the Minister of Digitisation. The law specifies the organisation of the national cyber security system (tasks and responsibilities of the entities entering it), the method of exercising supervision and control of compliance with the law, as well as the procedure for establishing the Cybersecurity Strategy of Poland.

The national cyber security system will include operators of key services, including the following sectors: energy, transport, banking and financial market infrastructure, water supply, healthcare, digital service providers, national level CSIRT teams (Computer Security Incident Response Teams), sectoral cybersecurity teams, entities providing services in the field of cybersecurity, bodies competent for cybersecurity (responsible for the supervision of operators of key services) and a single Contact Point for cybersecurity (serving for communication within the European Union in this field).

The new regulations are to apply after fourteen days from the date of their publication in the Journal of Laws and by 09 November, administrative decisions will be issued on the recognition of key services operators.
