Movistar Colombia has announced the commercial launch of its LTE-A network, which spans 129 municipalities.
Initial locations covered include the likes of: Cali, Pasto, Popayan, Manizales, Armenia, Pereira, Cucuta, Ibague, Neiva, Villavicencio, Tunja, Bucaramanga, Bogota (near Aeropuerto El Dorado), Funza, Mosquera and Madrid. The upgrade will deliver download transmission speeds of up to 250Mbps, Movistar notes.
