Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) has partnered with data virtualization services provider dataWerks to launch a cloud-based data virtualization service. The service will be offered on SLT&rs quo;s cloud platform dubbed ‘Akaza’. SLT’s cloud based Data Virtualization and Analytics Service is designed to offer real-time big data analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) tools for enterprises in Sri Lanka.
With this partnership, SLT seeks to enable business customers to virtualize their entire data set, no matter the number or types of data source, and enable real time data access to business intelligence tools and other applications. This new ‘data mashup’ service is expected to allow users to combine and correlate data from different systems whether held as structured or unstructured data. Integrated insights can be generated and delivered via multiple platforms.
SLT will also provide 24/7 support and service assurance to help maintain customer networks.
