Mobile operator Tele2 Latvia plans to invest more than EUR 11 million in network development this year and build 50 new LTE+ and LTE++ base stations. The investment will also enable the operator to prepare its network for the introduction of 5G.
New base stations are planned to be built in the surroundings of Riga, as well as in other regions across the country.
The investment in network development will total EUR 20 million in 2017-2018.
