Moldova’s National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (Agentia Nationala pentru Reglementare in Comunicatii Electronice si Tehnologia Informatiei, ANRCETI) has revealed that its Decision No.54 (28 December 2017) on the general authorisation regime for electronic communications has entered into force.
Under the new legislation, the ANRCETI simplified and updated the notification form and the nomenclature of the types of electronic communications networks and services subject to general authorisation. In addition, the regulator also approved the standard forms of the applications for obtaining or extending licences for the use of radio frequencies and of similar applications for the use of numbering resources for providing electronic communications networks/services. Following the adoption of Decision No.54, the Electronic Communications Law No. 241-XVI of 15 November 2017 was also amended (to be known as Law No.241/2007).
