Belgian operator Proximus is not ruling out a partnership with the Flemish government to roll out fibre networks, reports Datanews. Flemish innovation minister Philippe Muyters earlier this month proposed that the Flemish government help finance the roll-out of fibre networks. He wants the state to work with Proximus and Telenet to speed up the deployment of very fast broadband and suggested the state could also act on its own.
