The Dutch OTT platform NLziet has added live streaming channels from both private and public broadcasters to its premium on-demand service.
The move was already announced a couple of months ago, but now, NLZiet has started delivering the live streaming feeds.
The linear service comprises twelve channels, including all three Dutch national public channels (NPO 1, 2 and 3), as well as all channels from RTL Nederland (RTL 4, RTL 5, RTL 7, RTL 8, RTLz, and the ones from SBS Broadcasting (SBS 6, Net 5, Veronica and SBS 9).
The service costs €7.95, with no price increase planned for the addition of live streaming. Alongside NLZiet, NPO, RTL and SBS each have their own on-demand service, NPO Start, RTL XL and Kijk from SBS.
NLZiet is competing with other linear OTT TV Everywhere services, such as T-Mobile’s Knippr and KPN Play, which offer more channels than the main NPO, RTL and SBS channels.
