Russian mobile operator MTS has expanded the coverage of its LTE network in the city of St Petersburg using 800 MHz frequencials. Now, over 200,000 subscribers will be able to use the indoor LTE services from MTS.
In March-September of this year, MTS launched around 1,00 LTE-800 base stations in the city.
MTS built more than 400 LTE base stations in the city and region of St Petersburg in January-June.
