German regional operator Netcom Kassel has activated a superfast broadband network in Nieste, offering download speeds of up to 50 Mbps for over 870 households. The company is aiming to roll out superfast broadband to around 250,000 households across north Hessen by 2020.
Meanwhile, the operator is providing free WLAN internet access for spectators and participants in the EAM Kassel Marathon. The free WLAN access will be provided inside the stadium and the EAM action zone in front of the stadium.
