Orange Jordan recently signed an agreement with Al Hussein Technical University to provide exclusive telecommunication services for the university. The signing ceremony took place at the university premises, located at King Hussein Business Park. The agreement was signed by President of Al Hussein Technical University, H.E., Dr. Labeeb Khadra and CEO of Orange Jordan, Jérôme Hénique and in the attendance of Chief Enterprise Officer Sami Smeirat and other executives from both parties.
According to the agreement, Orange Jordan will be providing Al Hussein Technical University with integrated telecommunication services with a data hosting center to maintain the continuity of data flow and protection, in addition to hosting and storing customer data through providing energy sources and an integrated infrastructure plus high-quality internet services with the highest security levels according to international standards, stemming from Orange Jordan’s continuous efforts to provide developments to keep up with the latest technologies in the world of telecommunications..
During the signing ceremony, President of Al Hussein Technical University, Dr. Labeeb Khadra expressed his gratitude towards the efforts made by Orange Jordan and its support of the university, confirming the importance of this agreement and the development of the telecommunications infrastructure and internet services in the university, adding that the university seeks to offer all the necessary tools to raise the efficiency of its students.
Following the signing of the agreement, CEO of Orange Jordan, Jérôme Hénique emphasized Orange Jordan’s role in supporting the educational sector, by providing the best information technology and telecommunication tools that fall in line with the dynamic developments in the sector. He said, "We are delighted to partner with Al Hussein Technical University, through providing telecommunication solutions that will help talented young Jordanians lead economic development based on knowledge”. Hénique further affirmed that the services provided by the company to university students will create positive differences that will help them in their scientific and technical careers and will keep them in constant contact with all that is essential to them.

Al Hussein Technical University was established by the Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Foundation at the beginning of the current year, the university opened registration for its 2017- 2018 session . The university offers diploma and bachelor degree programs in the fields of applied engineering and computer science.
