TIM Brasil plans to deploy its 4G network on the 700 MHz frequency band in 84 municipalities in the state of Ceara.
Overall, TIM expects to reach 574 cities in Northeast Brazil on the 700 MHz frequency band, according to Ageu Guerra, TIM Nordeste network manager. In June alone, the operator activated its 4G network in 10 cities of Ceara, including Quixada, Barbalha and Mombasa.
In total, the 4G network covers 325 municipalities in Northeast Brazil and is expected to reach around 800 by the end of the year.
