Armentel plans modernization of wired networks

The Russian-owned company said the large-scale project will cover a significant part of the backbone and user infrastructure, while the amount of investments can reach tens of millions of US dollars in the next two years.

To implement the project, Beeline will invite Armenian partners to carry out installation and adjustment of equipment, laying optical networks, etc. In order to form a list of possible partners, the company asked all interested ones to send applications modernization@beeline.am.

ArmenTel CEO Andrey Pyatakhin said in a press release that the company continues the mission, started more than a century ago, and today it is ready to invest very significant sums for the benefit of the country and its clients.

" We will be very glad to work with Armenian partners to make life and communication in Armenia even better and more modern, " Pyatakhin said.

The planned investments will have a very positive impact on the quality of the fixed Beeline Internet, will help provide customers with convergent services of the highest quality, and help replace outdated analog stations with the most modern ones.
