Belgian operator Proximus said its mobile network handled 130 percent more data this year at the Rock Werchter festival. The operator expanded capacity at the festival site to meet the surge in demand. This included the use of LTE in the 2,600 MHz band for the first time, which doubled the 4G capacity. Proximus increases capacity for over 220 events per year, on the network and using CoWs.
