Argentina's telecommunications regulator Enacom has introduced new rules requiring the country's mobile operators to share passive and active infrastructure with a view to meeting national coverage goals, reports Telesemana. The regulation states that providers of mobile telephony services with installed passive infrastructure "are required to share the infrastructure with all other providers that need it". If this is not technically feasible, an equivalent alternative must be proposed, specified Enacom.
