Telecom provider Omantel has announced the launch of fibre optic services to homes across Muscat.
The areas where the services will be launched are Al Qurum, Al Hamriya and Darsait.
The roll-out will enable thousands of residents in those areas to benefit from high-speed fibre optic technology.
The company is also offering the new service for free in the first month, with a free Wi-Fi router.
