Ooredoo Joins Dar Al Atta’a for the 18th Annual Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Forum

As part of its longstanding commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and champion social development, Ooredoo has joined hands with Dar Al Atta’a to sponsor the 18th annual Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Forum. Set to be organised at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre from 31 May to 2 June 2017, the event is expected to attract around 120 participants from across the Sultanate with all entry fees to be donate to families in need.

Raed Dawood, Director of Government Relations and Corporate Affairs said, “As a company firmly focused on bringing value to the communities we serve, we are proud to collaborate with Dar Al Atta’a to provide SMEs with an opportunity to raise their profile and subsequently support the underprivileged. By simply attending the event, visitors will be able to make a contribution in the form of the entrance fee, which will provide those in need with brand new clothes to celebrate Eid.”

Ooredoo will also be providing one of the graduates of its skill-enhancing incubator programmes with the opportunity to exhibit their own products during the event. Ooredoo’s incubator programme has provided the skills and training needed to help women boost their careers or start up their own businesses to help grow local talent and the economy.
