NTT Communications ICT Solutions has launched new storage services based on Nimble Storage’s All Flash Systems for its utility, cloud and managed services customers.
National Sales Director, NTT Communications ICT Solutions Julie Barbieri says the partnership with Nimble provides an enhanced storage portfolio and product offering through the vendor’s Multicloud Flash Fabric, which effectively deploys storage resources to meet the growing demands of business-critical applications.
“The partnership provides clients with the ability to scale storage performance and capacity plus offers a flexible, building-block approach to achieving cloud scale,” she said.
Barbieri said the recent acquisition of Nimble by HPE was also a key factor in NTT ICT choosing them over other vendors.
“The acquisition by HPE solidifies the offering and brings further flexibility around our storage solutions. Nimble are incredibly easy to work with and are very focused around the channel, so it made business and technology sense. The use of predictive analytics in their solutions also gave them an advantage over other vendors.”
