Orange presents 4G network in Serowe

Orange Botswana sales and marketing manager, Sipho Ntebang said through the networkthey have gone an extra mile to bring faster network to customers.

“We ought to celebrate the development with you since you are part of the technological development. The provision and availability of 4G will provide the people with a lot of opportunities, as people will enjoy fast internet connection,” said Ntebang at the launch on Saturday.

He said through the network, it will be possible for all the customers to ease communication, take videos and share them in a moment without any delays.

Ntebang added that they were proud to be associated with their customers here saying from there, they will be touring different towns in the northern part of Botswana.

Ntebang further said with 4G, Orange also introduced other offers like Bua Le Nna, which he said allows one to make unlimited calls to Orange numbers with only P8 subscription per day and P30 per week.

He also said in a bid to bridge

the gap between the poor and rich and ensure that all their clients enjoy 4G network, Orange has introduced smartphones, which are sold at affordable prices. During the launch, the company distributed some free sim cards. He therefore encouraged their clients to utilise available Orange services.

Amongst some of the products that Ntebang outlined was Orange Money, which he said is one of those services that makes people’s lives easier through making money transactions through the phone, buy airtime or electricity at one’s convenience.

Ntebang said because of such services Orange has made sure that they place a lot of service points at different places apart from their shops, a development which he said has contributed to employment creation.

Serowe Umbrella Village Development Committee (VDC) chairperson, Gaeelwe Kennekae applauded Orange for the development saying it was important for the VDC to connect with private companies to bring developments in the village.

He urged the people to utilise the technology well to their advantage.
