Orange Botswana has introduced a 4G service to the community of Serowe. According to Orange Botswana sales operations manager, Sipho Ntebang, the development was ‘an extra mile’ from the 3G network introduced to Serowe community a few years back. Ntebang said provision and availability of 4G network in Serowe would avail opportunities for their customers through a fast internet connection.
The company also distributed free sim cards for the newly introduced product ‘Bua Le Nna’ that promoted unlimited calls between Orange users, provided clients had subscribed to various offers. Ntebang also encouraged Orange clients to utilise available services across the village. He offered that Orange Money was one product that offered opportunities for employment creation for Batswana.
